On page 549 of this issue [Nature 408], Schön, Kloc and Batlogg demonstrate superconductivity at 52 K in hole-doped C₆₀.
This opens up exciting perspectives and interesting questions and it is an important complement to earlier work on superconductivity in electron-doped C₆₀.
