Welcome to the Maier department

Our work is devoted to physical chemistry and is centered around ion transfer. This includes related phenomena such as mass transport, diffusion and chemical kinetics. The research refers to bulk and interfacial processes and covers experiments (mostly electrochemical), theoretical approaches (essentially thermodynamic and kinetic concepts) as well as explicit materials research with respect to electrochemical applications.
