Ringberg Castle is beautifully located in the Bavarian Alps above the
village Kreuth, just south of Tegernsee, about 60 km south of Munich and
about 300 km from Stuttgart. It was built by Herzog Luitpold a relative of
King Ludwig of Bayern who built Neuschwanstein (the model
for the fairy-tale castle at Disney Land).
